Forte Village Hotel Castello

Hotel Castello is the obvious choice for those seeking a highly luxurious and sophisticated environment. The 214 refurbished rooms offer enchanting views in one of the most private corners of the Forte Village, equipped with all the comforts and services of a 5 star hotel.

The Castello is situated close to the beach and the Castello pools, with dedicated reception, piano bar and restaurant. There are various types of guest rooms to suit your requirements, with a balcony or terrace and either a garden or sea facing view. The guest rooms are furnished in sophisticated yet typical Sardinian style and have en suite bath and/or shower rooms (some with hydro massage), air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, hairdryer, minibar and safe. On the fourth and fifth floor, the Executive Deluxe Mare rooms, Junior Suites and Suites enjoy spectacular sea views above the trees.

Guests at Hotel Castello can enjoy a buffet breakfast at Cavalieri an elegant indoor restaurant with an al fresco terrace (weather permitting) or Bellavista (for guests staying in a Castello Bungalow) and dinner at either Cavalieri, Forte Grill and the Pineta buffet. There are alternative themed restaurants (on reservation, without supplement) from which to choose including Belvedere, Le Dune, Sardinian and Brazilian restaurants.

Superior Room  (25m ² , sleeping 2 adults + cot) double/twin room with en suite bath and/or shower room and a balcony overlooking the pine forest. It is not possible to include an extra bed but some rooms can interconnecting.

Superior Garden (29m ² , sleeping 2 adults and 1 child) double/twin room with en suite bath and/or shower room and a balcony overlooking the garden. An extra bed or cot can be added on request and interconnecting rooms are available.

Superior Mare(28m ² , sleeping 2 adults + cot) double/twin bedroom with en suite bath and/or shower room and balcony with a partial sea view through the trees.

Executive Mare (32m ² , sleeping 2 adults and 1 child) double/twin room, en suite bath and/or shower room and balcony with partial sea view through the trees. An extra bed or cot can be added on request and interconnecting rooms are available. 

Executive Deluxe Mare (35m ² + 17m ² terrace, sleeping 2 adults and 1 child) open plan double/twin bedroom with a living area located on the fourth or fifth floor, en suite bathroom with bath and shower and furnished terrace with sea view. A bed or cot can be added on request and interconnecting rooms are available. (Please note that some rooms may have an internal step.)

Luxury Family Bungalow(44m ² , sleeping 2 adults and 3 children under 13 years) located on the ground floor with a patio area or first floor with a terrace and views over the gardens. They have one double bedroom and a separate living room with a double sofa beds (third bed on request) and an en suite bathroom with bath and shower.

All guests may dine in their hotel's dedicated restaurant or in any of the other restaurants by making a reservation (supplement may apply).

• Cavalieri Restaurant  (Hotel Castello guests)  high class breakfast and dinner buffets including salads, cheese assortment, typical regional cold cuts, fresh pasta dishes, a variety of bread and a pastry corner. From the hot buffet and barbecue grill the chef offers local Sardinian and Italian dishes. Elegant indoor dining or al fresco terrace (weather permitting).
• Pineta Restaurant  (Bouganville guests)  opulent buffets with themed evenings featuring traditional Italian dishes. Complimentary mineral water and half bottle of house per person. Open-air restaurant with garden view.
• Belvedere Rooftop Restaurant  (Villa del Parco guests)  a 1 Michelin star restaurant directed by chef Giuseppe Molaro offering gourmet dishes crafted with passion. Rooftop park view. 
• Le Dune Restaurant  (Le Dune guests)  a la carte menu with a modern take on regional Italian cuisine. Beach view.
• Forte Grill Restaurant  variety of meats from Italy, Ireland and Australia cooked on a grill with a range of starters and desserts. Oasis pool view.

• La Terrazza San Domenico  traditional Italian restaurant serving Romagna cuisine created by chef Massimiliano Mascia, located by the sea.
• Mario’s Restaurant  dedicated Children's Restaurant with a special menu where the cuisine is tailored to children's needs. Near Oasis pools. Open for lunch and dinner. Children must be accompanied by a parent. 
• Wild Scandinavian Cooking  discover authentic Scandinavian cuisine at this barbecue restaurant by Chef Brian Bojsen (reservation and supplement).
• Forte Gourmet  overlooking the Oasis pool with traditional Italian dishes produced by Michelin starred chef Rocco Iannone.
• Celebrity Chef Nights held on the Forte Bay Terrace with spectacular sea views, these evenings are hosted by visiting Michelin starred chefs (only open on specific dates)
• Cantina del Forte  small, elegant restaurant serving a tasting menu accompanied by a choice of more than 300 Italian and international wines.

Please note: Facilities,   restaurants, bars are open at the discretion of the management. Forte Village operate a credit card system to purchase drinks, activities, services and supplements during your stay to be settled on departure.

The Aquaforte Spa is one of the most up-to-date Thalassotherapy centres in Europe with 6 warm seawater pools at different temperatures and salt concentrations.

There are also saunas, Turkish bath, Techno-gym with personal trainers, massages, holistic and physiotherapy treatments, health and beauty and bar.

Please note: Local cost €105 for 1 admission (90mins), prices available locally for multiple admissions. Guest will need their own medical certificate or it can be issued at the Forte Village medical center (extra cost).

Alternatively, a 300m 2  private spa is available for exclusive use ( on reservation,  supplement) with a private entrance, 3 Thalasso pools, sauna, hammam, emotional showers, solarium, lounge area and changing rooms. It is possible to have food and drinks served in the private area (extra cost).

The Acquaforte Gym is free of charge. Personal Trainers are extra cost. The Performance Centre (extra cost) is a fitness centre of excellence for professional and amateur sports players who want a personalised training strategy to achieve the best results in terms of muscle balance, personalised improvement in their individual sport and weight loss.

Forte Village Resort is a real paradise for holidays with children. It is the perfect place for the whole family to enjoy a holiday with maximum relaxation for parents and maximum fun for children of all ages.

The  ‘Children's Wonderland’  Mini Club (open daily 9am-1pm and 3pm-6pm) is a fabulous protected oasis near the beach with play parks, shady areas and shallow pools especially designed for children with English speaking staff organising daily activities, games, workshops, shows and competitions. There is a Mario's Village, Barbie™ house, go-kart circuit and a beautiful Fisher-Price® nursery all contained within Children's Wonderland. A variety of activities are available including clay modelling, pizza making, dance and musical instruments. All the staff have been trained and certified by Worldwide Kids.

There is a dedicated children's restaurant where everything is designed for children from the serving times to the menus and from the seats to the tables.

Children will love Leisureland with Circus, bowling and go-karting and the Baia delle Palme pool has an aquapark featuring water games and slides for children and teenagers.

The ‘Children's Wonderland’ Mini Club for 2-12 year olds is complimentary and there is also a Teen Club for 13-17 year olds. The nursery for 0-2 year olds and babysitting services are available on request (local cost).

VIP treatment with bottle of sparkling wine and a basket of fruit, one a la carte meal, one complimentary meal in one of our gourmet restaurants per person per stay and unlimited complimentary entrances to the Acquaforte Spa.

Repeat Guests who have stayed at Forte Village since 2020 will receive €200 resort credit per room for food & beverages and Leisure Land activities (minimum stay 7 nights).

Santa Margherita is situated between Pula and Chia, on a long stretch of coast fringed by pine groves and sheltered by a line of mountains, predominantly undeveloped. It is approximately 10km from the charming town of Pula and the 27 hole Is Molas Golf Course is a similar distance. The locality offers a wide range of activities including watersports and sightseeing at Nora.
