The resort offers distinctively light, sophisticated cuisine: à la carte Italian food at its finest in Ruia Restaurant with aperitivo’s at the Sunset Terrace Bar or Pool Bar or indulge in the sophisticated creations by top chef Claudio Sadler at his Michelin-starred restaurant ‘Gusto by Sadler’.

Ruia, The Italian Restaurant  The finest traditional Italian cuisine, paired with a selection of prestigious wines. Inspired by Mediterranean cuisine, the menu is a blend of classic and modern to savour the aromas and flavours of the Mediterranean menu in the unique atmosphere of the Ruia restaurant. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

G usto By Sadler – 1 Michelin Star  Michelin-starred chef Claudio Sadler has created a perfect marriage of Sardinian regional cuisine and inventive contemporary dishes, drawing on that artistic and aesthetic sensibility that have made him famous throughout the world. The à la carte menu presents a colourful array of fish and meat courses that express his constant quest for harmony, simplicity and lightness. Gusto by Sadler was awarded 1 Michelin Star in the Michelin Guide Italy 2022 and welcomes diners in the evening.

Pool Bar  Relax at the fabulous bar by the pool with a long cool drink and enjoy a light meal during the day with tempting snacks, sandwiches, crisp salads and refreshing soft drinks and cocktails.  In the evening, sip on a flute of Cantine Ferrari bubbly before going on to dinner. Open every day from before lunch through to after dinner.

Sunset Terrace Bar  After a long day on the beach or in a boat exploring the idyllic coastline, treat yourself to an elegant drink from the special cocktail list at the Sunset Terrace Bar with an exclusive selection of vintages, Champagnes and cocktails. Open daily from aperitivo to dinner time.

The resort is set in 4 hectares of private parkland with a 350m beach road leading to the beach and sea. Lu Impostu beach has white sand and crystal clear turquoise sea ideal for swimming and snorkelling and there are stunning views out to Isola Tavolara. Two sunbeds and a parasol are available for each room of Baglioni Resort Sardinia, starting from the second row: the sunbeds and parasols on the first row can be booked with a supplement, while the Suite San Pietro, Suite Maddalena and Tavolara Suites have sunbeds included in the first row.

The area leading to the beach is rich in vegetation and wildlife, such as pink flamingos, cormorants, herons and beautiful orchids. In front of the restaurant and bar there is a spacious sun terrace with sun loungers, cabanas, a large swimming pool and two smaller pools, one suitable for children. 

The gym is open 24 hours a day offering treadmills, exercise bikes and other Technogym cardio machines for a complete all-round workout. There is yoga and meditation classes in the garden and there are tennis and padel courts (private and group lessons available, extra cost). Puntaldìa golf club is 2km away.

The Kid’s Club (for 3-12 years old) is the perfect place to keep children entertained with a host of outdoor games and activities. There is a large area for them to enjoy indoor recreational activities under the supervision of the entertainment staff, as well as a relaxation area where they can unwind or take a break.

There are creative workshops for the children to develop their manual skills and creativity and to learn while having fun, from water sports to treasure hunts, from dancing to handicrafts and much more!

There is a supervised children’s pool, a small garden outside the Kids Club and a large green space near the resort pools. There are also a range of beach activities as well as yoga. Open from 10am -10pm, 7 days a week.

The Tavolara Marine Protected Area offers amazing opportunities for diving and snorkelling, canoeing and kayaking, kitesurfing and boat trips and there are many secluded beaches, coves and caves to discover. 

A luxury cruise boat, Azimut Atlantis 34, is available (extra cost) for an amazing day out to explore the beautiful island of Mortorio, La Maddalena Archipelago and Bonifacio in Corsica.

There is a horse-riding centre nearby offering dawn and sunset rides in the gorgeous setting of San Teodoro with stunning beach, lagoon and sea. Mount Nieddu is great for hiking, with nature trails punctuated by waterfalls and pretty natural pools.

Cookery Classes: The resort runs cooking lessons to learn the secrets of Sardinian recipes and ingredients. During this experience, the Chef will help you step by step as you prepare an exquisite local dish with a gourmet twist (extra cost).

There is complimentary parking and a main reception building with lounge area.

Relax and refresh your body and mind in the spa with sensory showers, steam bath, Finnish sauna, ice fountain and a massage area with beauty treatments available (extra cost). The private spa is an oasis of luxury and peace with jacuzzi, sensory showers and relaxation area with a selection of teas and infusions (advance booking). Open daily from 9am- 8pm.

Baglioni Resort is located on the north east coast of Sardinia close to the stunning Lu Impostu beach, 3km from the golf resort of Puntaldia and 8km north of the town of San Teodoro. The stunning Cala Brandinchi beach is to the north and La Cinta beach is to the south of Puntaldia.

San Teodoro is a buzzing holiday resort in high season with a good selection of shops, café bars, restaurants, pizzerias and gelaterias. On summer evenings there are market stalls in the town piazza to buy typical Sardinian handicrafts and Sardinian specialities are available, including local wines and cheeses, from the small food shops. The area also offers horse riding, mountain biking and nature trails at Monti Nieddu, the hills behind San Teodoro. San Teodoro is located within the marine protected area of Tavolara, which extends from the tip of Capo Ceraso to the tip of Isuledda and includes the islands of Tavolara, Molara and Molarotto. 

Puntaldìa is located at Punta Sabatino near San Teodoro on the east coast of the island and 23km south of Olbia airport. It is an immaculate development in a wonderful location overlooking the picturesque coastline and built in harmony with the surrounding natural park. There is a range of shops, eateries, marina and sport activities including tennis, diving and golf.
