Resort & Spa Le Dune

This large resort style village is made up of 5 distinctive hotels with 496 rooms, all furnished in Mediterranean style with terrace or balcony, en suite shower room, air conditioning, TV, telephone, safe, minibar, hairdryer and beach towels. Free cot on request at the time of booking. All the hotels have their own reception (except Duna Bianca where guests are met), who provide essential resort information. There is a choice of restaurants, bars and swimming pools (Sabine pool reserved for Sabine and Duna Bianca guests) and the beach has reserved sunbeds for all guests (subject to availability, extra cost).

Hotel I Ginepri ****

Situated near the Il Nautilus Restaurant and adjacent to a large freshwater swimming pool, there are 175 rooms on first floor or ground level. Breakfast is buffet style at Il Nautilus restaurant next to the pool and bar.

Ginepri Senior Suite(sleeps 6 + cot) two bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin) and separate lounge with 2 single sofa beds.

Hotel Le Palme **** 

Situated in the centre of the resort with lovely pool, bar and near Il Pomodoro and Carrimbanca restaurants. Hotel Le Palme has 153 rooms located on the ground or first floor and is ideal for families with one child.  A buffet breakfast is served at Il Pomodoro restaurant overlooking the attractive pool with children’s area and gardens.

Hotel La Duna Bianca ****S

Located opposite the beach, approximately 200m from the main resort and serviced by a land train, there are 16 spacious guest rooms, which are well furnished and have large balconies, most with lovely sea views and sunsets. Breakfast is served on the balcony (on request, no supplement) or in your choice of the resorts buffet restaurants. Restaurant ‘Alla Spiaggia’ situated below is open for buffet lunch and dinner. Guests have complimentary sunbeds and parasols in a reserved area on beach. The Sabine pool is reserved for Duna Bianca and Le Sabine guests. Bathrobes are provided for adults.

Royal 2  (sleeping 2 adults + cot) prestigious room with double bed and open plan lounge area.

Royal 4 Sea View  (sleeping 2 adults + 2 children 0-14yrs) prestigious room with double bed and open plan lounge area with pull-out double sofa bed.

President Sea View  (sleeping 2 adults + 2 children 0-14yrs) exclusive furniture and size with double bed and open plan lounge area with pull-out double sofa bed and large veranda with panoramic sea views.

Hotel & Spa Le Sabine ****S 

Hotel Le Sabine has 94 rooms and is located next to the wellness centre with its own reception, swimming pool, bar and restaurant. Breakfast is served at Il Leccio restaurant terrace and bathrobes for adults provided. The  Sabine pool reserved for Le Sabine and Duna Bianca guests.

Sabine Deluxe Room  (sleeping 2 adults + cot)   double (twin on request) bedroom, on request it is possible to add an extra bed for a child up to the age of 5 years.

Sabine Suite (sleeps 4 + cot) double bedroom and separate lounge area with a built in single bed and single sofa bed.

Hotel Le Rocce **** 

A smaller hotel with 58 rooms, its own reception and pool. A buffet breakfast is served in the Romantico restaurant.

A fantastic feature of the village is the choice of 6 bars and 10 restaurants for dinner from 7.30pm to 9.30 / 10pm (subject to availability, reservation required). 

Il Nautilus:  Main restaurant with Mediterranean and Itlian buffet and daily specialities. Also open for Brunch Mediterraneo® (for those on full board). Spring water is included.

Il Pomodoro:  Buffet service serving Italian and regional specialities. Spring water is included.

Alla Spiaggia:  Opposite the beach in the Duna Bianca area, buffet of appetizers, fresh pasta specialities and seafood. Also open for brunch (extra cost). Spring water is included.

Li Junchi:  Woodfire oven Pizza, starters and desserts, restaurant with table service. Spring water and draught soft drinks included.

Carrimbanca:  Authentic buffet of Sardinian cuisine. Spring water included.

Restaurants with supplement:

Scorfano:  Buffet of mixed grilled fish, antipasti and sweets (supplement except Duna Bianca guests and children 1 year and under). Spring water included (wine on payment).

Romantico:  Elegant candlelight dinner with chef recommended specialities and table service (supplement except Duna Bianca guests and children 1 year and under). Spring water included (wine on payment).

Il Leccio (open from 31/05):  Mediterranean show cooking with buffet service (supplement except for Duna Bianca and Le Sabine guests and children 1 year and under. Spring water included (wine on payment).

Il Tramonto: Close to the beach with Spagetteria open for lunch and tasting menu for dinner (reservation & supplement).

Peter Pan:  Restaurant area for Baby and Mini Club children (3-8 years) open 6 days a week (excludes Saturdays) for lunch and dinner 7.30pm-10pm. For children up to 2 years a parent must be present.

Lunch

Brunch Mediterraneo®(12:30pm – 2:30pm, included with full board or extra cost) offers light buffets at the restaurants Nautilus” or Alla Spiaggia with hot pasta dishes, Chef’s cold dishes based on salads and vegetables and a wide selection of fruits and local cheeses, (the traditional second courses of meat or fish and dessert are not served).
Brunch Around Option: Guests with full board can have Brunch Mediterraneo® at 5* Hotel Marinedda Thalasso & Spa, Park Hotel & Spa Cala di Lepre and for a €12 supplement at 5* Resort Valle dell'Erica (excluding August).  It can also be substituted for a packed lunch.

Alternatively, tasty sandwiches and salads are available at the bars (extra cost).

On request at the hotel, guests on half board can replace dinner with Brunch Mediterraneo®.

Children 0-1yr free of charge in all restaurants; Children 2-12yrs 50% reduction on supplements.

Gluten free meals are available on request when booking restaurants locally.

This large well planned resort has 6 swimming pools, 4 tennis courts, 5-a-side football, mini basketball, beach volleyball, outdoor fitness area, yoga (all complimentary) and Padel courts (extra cost). There is also free medical assistance and scheduled shuttle bus to Badesi village (not Saturday's, extra cost) to access shops, banks and cashpoint. Spectacular shows and evening entertainment (predominantly in Italian) are hosted in an amphitheatre in the resort.  

There is a pre-payment card system for drinks and sundries (no cash payments).

The long sandy beach has reserved beach service (2 sunbeds and 1 parasol per room, subject to availability), the following charges apply (Hotel La Duna Bianca guests free of charge):

From opening until 27 June and from 6 September until closing: first row €20, second row €15, from third row €10.
28 June until 5 September: first row €28, second row €22, third row €16, from 4th row €12.

There are windsurfers, catamarans, kayaks, SUP boards, pedalo and rubber dinghy rental from the beach and there is a Scuba Diving available (all extra cost).

There is a central piazzetta with gift shop, small health & beauty shop, boutique, games area, tourist office for excursions, car and boat hire. Also Le Dune Point for resort information and activity and restaurant bookings (advisable), usually open until late in the evening. 

There is WiFi in all receptions and Alla Spiaggia, Le Palme and I Ginepri bars and in the rooms in La Duna Bianca and Le Sabine.

There is free parking with charging stations for electric vehicles (power 22kw, extra cost)

There is a choice of family suites sleeping up to 5/6, pushchair hire (request at the time of booking, €24 per stay with refundable deposit) and complimentary activities, watersports (extra cost) and entertainment for all the family. Children are well catered for with dedicated facilities and clubs included in the price of the holiday (book locally, no children's clubs available on Saturday's):

Fantasy Village:  Set up on a shady hill with children’s pool (supervised at certain times of the day) and sandy playground.
Duneland:  The base for the Children’s Clubs with soft play equipment, play centre, creative labs, organised activities, arts and crafts and sleeping area with cots and bottle service available.
Peter Pan Restaurant:  For children’s lunch with an area for Baby and Mini Clubs. A parent must be present for children under 2 years old.

Nursery:  Baby room available (on request) with change facilities, fridges, sterilisers, microwave etc.
Baby Club:  For ages 3-4 years open from 9:30am to 6:30pm and evening group child minding 8:30-10:30pm (book and pay locally). A medical certificate is required, issued by your doctor not more than 3 days prior to arrival, proving that the child has no contagious illness.
Mini Club:  For ages 5-8 years open 9:30am-6:30pm with recreational and sport activities tailored to the different age groups.
Junior Club:  For ages 9 -13 years open 9:30am-6:30pm with various recreational and sports activities tailored to different ages.
Teen Club:  For ages 14-17 years with various activities including archery, 5-a-side football, beach volleyball, mini basketball and tennis.
Discovering Nature and Learning:  Educational nature trail with recreational activities focused on discovering Mediterranean plants, the aviary and organic vegetable garden, some for the resort restaurants.

It is possible for children to have lunch and dinner with the child care staff (supplement for brunch ahd dinner if not included with accommodation).

Child supervision is available for children aged 2-3 years on request (extra cost).

Please note: All facilities are open at the discretion of the management and these facilities are not available on Saturday's.

Le Sabine Spa has 3 heated open air freshwater spa pools, Turkish bath,  cardio fitness room  and indoor and outdoor relax area. There is also a health & beauty centre.

Entrance €25 per person (over 14 years) for about 2 hours use of the open air spa pools, Turkish bath, cardio fitness room and relax area. 

Please note: Entrance to the spa centre is extra cost, spa packages available, open 6 days a week. Must be over 14 years old. Health self certification required. Opening of the Wellness Centre is at the discretion of the Management.

Spa Terms & Conditions

1 free entrance per person (on reservation) to the ‘Le Sabine SPA’ with free use of the fresh water multifunction outdoor pools, cardio fitness room, relax area and solarium with sunbeds, a welcome bottle in the room, a Delphina gift for the couple and a typical silver Sardinian wedding ring for the bride.

Please note:  This offer applies to stays within 12 months of the wedding (for anniversaries within one month of the original date and within a year for silver and golden weddings). For defacto couples the date of formalisation will be accepted. A document indicating the date of marriage or formalisation will need to be shown at the hotel. Available for the couple only. Minimum stay 7 nights.

Resort & Spa Le Dune is situated on the north west coast of Sardinia between Castelsardo and Isola Rossa, approximately 80km from both Alghero airport (NW) and Olbia airport (NE). It is located at Badesi Mare with 8km white sandy beach with watersports, sunbeds and parasols for hire and a few beach shops and snack bar. Badesi is the closest town (3km) from the resort, a market town with a selection of shops, supermarket, pharmacy, banks, cash point (Bancomat) and souvenir shops. 

Isola Rossa (10km) is a picturesque old fishing village with a few restaurants, shops and marina set on a rocky promontory surrounded by sea, situated off the road leading from Castelsardo to Santa Teresa on the north west coast of Sardinia. It has two white sandy beaches and due to its position benefits from stunning sunsets which, as the name suggests, lights up the landscape turning the coastline different shades of red. Aqua Fantasy water park is great for families.

Castelsardo (23km) is a strategic landmark on the north west coast with an ancient citadel perched on the hilltop jutting out into the sea. Little cobbled alleyways wind their way up past shops displaying traditional handicrafts, ceramics and basket ware for which the town is renowned. The old fishing port is still active and there is a small town beach, shops, bars and pizzerias. Look out for the Roccia dell'Elefante, a large rock eroded in the shape of a baby elephant on the way out of the town.
