Hotel Marinedda Thalasso & Spa

Built in attractive Sardinian style, the guest rooms and suites are arranged on the ground and first floors in landscaped Mediterranean style gardens with paths leading to the main hotel facilities. All the rooms are attractively furnished and have en suite shower room, hairdryer, air conditioning, TV, telephone, safe, minibar, beach towels, bathrobes for adults and most enjoy sea views (supplement) from the balcony or terrace furnished with 2 chairs and a small table. Free cot on request at the time of booking.

There are Superior roooms, Suites and Family Suites located in a dedicated Family Area  closer to the family services such as children's club.

A buffet breakfast is served on the poolside terrace. Brunch Mediterraneo® (12:30pm – 2:30pm, included with full board or extra cost) offers light buffet with first courses, salads, vegetables and a selection of fruits and local cheeses or can be substituted with a packed lunch. Alternatively for lunch there is Horizonte pool side snack bar or the beach bar.

For dinner there is a Mediterranean cuisine buffet, a restaurant with table service (7.30-9.30pm) and a Pizzeria with wood-fired oven.  Additionally, Tramonto Restaurant offers a a la carte menu with table service (extra cost, on reservation, open at the discretion of the management 8-10pm). The restaurants offer a wide variety of international as well as Sardinian and Italian cuisine featuring seafood, fish, meat and local dishes.

There is a bar in the reception area, a poolside snack bar with music in the evenings and a small beach bar. A light lunch (extra cost) is available at the  Punta Canneddi restaurant or Horizonte poolside snack bar or snacks are available at the Beach Bar in the reserved area.

Brunch Around Option: Guests with full board can have Brunch Mediterraneo® at other Delphina hotels: Resort & Spa Le Dune, Park Hotel & Spa Cala di Lepre and for a €12 supplement at 5* Resort Valle dell'Erica (excluding August). Transfers and drinks not included, reservation required.

On request at the hotel, guests on half board can replace dinner with Brunch Mediterraneo®.

Gluten free meals are available on request at time of booking.

Please note:   Buffet service can sometimes be replaced with the table service.  Restaurants, bars and other facilities are open at the discretion of the management, particularly in low season.

Hotel Marinedda has 2 swimming pools - 1 freshwater near the hotel with panormaic terraces and 1 seawater closer to the beach with resturant and sea views, both have bar service and sun loungers provided on the surrounding terrace.

The public Marinedda beach is 250m from the pool area of the hotel with sun loungers, parasols and watersports (all extra cost, 2 sun loungers and 1 parasol: 28 June to 5 September €38 first row, €30 second row, €25 third row and €20 from the fourth row; Other periods €26 first row, €20 second row, €15 third row and €10 from the fourth row.

There is complimentary tennis, Padel, archery, gym, trekking trails and five-a-side football.

Bike rental, Scuba diving, boat hire, windsurfing, surfing, canoe and sport fishing are available locally and there are also boat excursions from the marina of Isola Rossa (all extra cost).

At the hotel there is free medical assistance in the medical office at scheduled times (certificates and visits extra cost).

There is a dedicated Family Area with Superior, Suites and Family Suite rooms ideally located near the family services.

Complimentary children's clubs operate 7 days a week: Mini Club for 3-12yrs (10am-10pm) with playground, mini pool, creative and sport activities; and Junior Club 9-12yrs 9.30am-12.30pm and 3.30-6.30pm offering lots of outdoor activities, recreative and sport group lessons for five-a-side football, padel, tennis, mini-basketball and archery.

It is possible to arrange for children to have lunch and dinner with entertainment staff (on reservation, extra cost if not included with accommodation).

The impressive L’Elicriso Thalasso & Spa Centre offers a wonderful opportunity whilst on holiday to either take part in a fitness programme in the cardio fitness room  or with a personal trainer, beauty treatments or just relax in the Turkish bath, sauna, a partly covered heated hydro massage seawater pool, open air multi functional Thalasso seawater pools with differing temperatures and jacuzzi. 

Entrance to the Wellness Centre (from 14 years old): €30 per person for about 2 hours with free use of the Thalasso pools, Turkish bath, sauna, cardio-fitness room and relax area.

Alternatively, pamper yourself with a Thalasso treatment (extra cost), using the minerals from the seawater and oils from local Sardinian plants, for wellness and beauty. There is also a menu of massages and beauty treatments and a relax area with a wide selection of herbal teas.

Please note: E ntrance to the spa centre is extra cost and open 6 days a week. Only children 14 years and over are permitted in the Spa if accompanied by a parent or with written concent.  A health self-certification is required for treatments and use of the Spa facilities.

1 free Spa entrance per person (on reservation) to the ‘L’Elicriso’ Wellness Centre with use of the seawater Thalasso pools, cardio fitness room and relax area, a welcom bottle in the room, a Delphina gift for the couple and a typical Sardinian silver wedding ring for the bride.

Please note: Offer applies to stays within 12 months of the wedding (for anniversaries within one month of the original date and within a year for silver and golden weddings). For defacto couples the date of formalisation will be accepted. A document indicating the date of marriage or formalization will need to be shown at the hotel. Available for the couple only. Minimum stay 7 nights.

Hotel Marinedda is built on the hillside to take advantage of the wonderful views and sunsets over Golfo dell’Asinara. It is approximately 1km from the pretty fishing village of Isola Rossa with a few shops, café bars, restaurants and marina. From the hotel there is a pathway leading to the beautiful Marinedda beach, about 500m away, with sunbeds and parasols to hire and a sailing and diving school (all extra cost). Aqua Fantasy water park 2km away is great for families.
