Situated in the gardens surrounded by aromatic plants, fruit and olive trees and granite rocks, all the Suites have their own private garden with small pool (heated in low season) and views of the countryside or towards the sea.

Beautifully designed using natural materials including oak, light stone and handcrafted furnishings, yet providing a high standard of modern comforts, each suite has an airy living room, comfortable bedroom with Egyptian cotton bed linen and pillow menu, en suite shower room with natural bath products and refined bath linen, flat screen satellite TV, telephone, safe, WiFi, air conditioning/heating, hairdryer, mini bar (drinks extra cost) and tea & coffee making facilities.

Deluxe Pool Suite  (37m ² + 12m ² terrace + 30m ² garden) bedroom, separate lounge, designer bathroom with shower, private terrace with sofa, armchairs, table and chaises longues and a private garden with private pool (heated low season).

Ulia restaurant, surrounded by silvery foliage of olive trees with scents of wild herbs, comprises of a few tables overlooking the garden and pool where guests can a enjoy a typical Sardinian breakfast, lunch by the pool and dinner with sunsets and starry skies.

The chefs create menus using local culinary traditions derived from the finest seasonal ingredients. They are happy to cater for individual requests and to prepare the produce guests pick from the vegetable garden or orchard. The olives grown on the estate are bottled or used as a dip for fresh garden salads in the restaurant.

It is possible to taste local wines in the cellar with the sommelier including the world-renowned Vermentini di Gallura, Cagnulari red wines and the famous Cannonau which are the perfect accompaniment to pecorino cheese and Sardinian mountain salami served with crisp carasau flatbread.

The lounge bar overlooks the lawn and the swimming pool and serves drinks and cocktails throughout the day.

It is also possible for guest to arrange special private dinners in the olive grove, on a private deck by the sea or aboard a private yacht (all extra cost).  Alternatively, guests can reserve a table at the hotels sister establishments: Agriturismo La Colti 3km, The Cutter Lounge & Restaurant in Cannigione 7km and MiraLuna Restaurant at Villa del Golfo Lifestyle Resort 8km (all extra cost, complimentary shuttle, reservation required).

There is a lovely central stazzo housing the reception with a stone fireplace and large mezzanine, restaurant and lounge bar overlooking the lawn and the swimming pool.

Below ground level is the wine cellar, a cosy oak-scented room dedicated to tastings. Next to it is the spa with a heated swimming pool, sauna, special herbal teas and natural beauty treatments. 

The outdoor swimming pool is made from local marble and the sun terrace is furnished with sunbeds, parasols and complimentary towels. There is an outdoor lounge under the trees and patio furniture for relaxation.

Within the 18 hectares of hotel grounds there is a vegetable garden, olive grove and oil mill. The grounds lead to the Saloni Pond and Nature Reserve covering 36 hectares where guests can follow a nature trail and there is a small pier for mooring canoes on the pond and a bird-watching tower. The hotel can also organise a kayak tour and a vegetable garden ramble.

There is a gym with Technogym equipment for complimentary guests use. Yoga and Pilates takes place in the grounds with an experienced instructor (on request, extra cost).

A golf cart transports guests around the resort and there is a free shuttle to the beach, San Pantaleo village and market (on Thursdays) and to La Colti, Cutter Lounge and MiraLuna restaurants (reservation required).

The reception can also organise bike rental, transport outside the estate via electric shuttle bus, personalised lunch and dinner menus and themed excursions (all on reservation, extra cost) including hiking, climbing, boat trips, horse riding and vineyard tours.

A nice touch is that guests can plant and adopt an olive tree (with a personalized wooden plate) on the estate.  Guests can also join the olive harvest (20/09-24/10) with olive oil tasting in the mill.  The hotel also organises jam and preserve making classes (on request).

Cascioni is in a wonderful location: To the north is the Gulf of Arzachena, to the east Porto Cervo, to the south the artisan village of San Pantaleo and to the west the archaeological parks and the wild Gallura region. It is well situated to visit the town and port of Cannigione (6km), the town of Arzachena (6km), the resort of Baia Sardinia (10km) the beaches of the Costa Smeralda (Spiaggia di Liscia Ruja 10km) and yacht marinas of Porto Cervo (12km) and Portisco (11km).

Cannigione is a popular holiday destination with a couple of town beaches, port and marina offering boat trips and boat hire to visit the nearby beaches and stunning islands of the Archipelago of La Maddalena. The town has a good selection of shops, weekly market, night market (high season), restaurants, pizzerias and café bars. 

The artisan village of San Pantaleo is 5km inland, situated up on the hillside behind the Costa Smeralda. The village is typically Mediterranean with terracotta buildings and a few shops, excellent Thursday market, café bars, restaurants and old folk sitting on the steps around the small piazza watching the world go by.

Baia Sardinia is a beautiful seaside resort, looking out to Caprera Island, with a white sandy beach and turquoise sea surrounded by villas, hotels and a lively piazza with shops, café bars and restaurants. There are watersports available on the beach and boat trips out to the islands.

With Porto Cervo at its centre, the Costa Smeralda coastline stretches for 55km, with a harmonisation between Mediterranean architecture, natural landscape and seascape encompassing more than 80 beautiful bays, coves and sandy beaches.
